Medica CallLink^® nurse line - Talk about your health concerns with a registered nurse at Medica CallLink. If your employer has chosen to offer access to this service, you will find the CallLink phone number on the back of your Medica ID card.
My Health Manager - Visit the My Health Manager from Medica^SM Web site, available to members if offered by their employer, for information on asthma and other health concerns. After logging in, go to the Medical Resources section (under My Health Tools) and search for “asthma.”
Medica Health Coaches - Some members may have access to Medica’s health and wellness coaching program, which provides personalized help for making lifestyle changes. Health coaches can work with you in developing and attaining goals to improve your health. Call the customer service number listed on the back of your ID card to see if you have access to the program.

Asthma Fact:

Secondhand smoke may cause asthma in children. For children who already have asthma, secondhand smoke can worsen their symptoms. If you smoke and your child has asthma, quitting will help him or her breathe easier.
